The Southern Oklahoma Technology Center is located in Ardmore, Oklahoma. The college is public, small and offers an LPN program.
Oklahoma Panhandle State University is located in Goodwell, Oklahoma. This college is small but offers a good number of majors including one nursing program. It’s one of the more affordable colleges in OK, but keep in mind that the costs of nursing books, lab materials, and clinical materials all add up.
The Caddo Kiowa Technology Center is located in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma and was founded in the mid-1960s. CKTC is a small public center that offers an LPN nursing program. The CKTC school campus is considered one of the safest campuses in the state of Oklahoma.
The Oklahoma City Community College is a community college located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. It is an average- to medium-sized college. They offer one nursing program, an ADN, which is a two-year degree. If you want anything higher you will have to transfer to a four-year college.
The nursing schools in Oklahoma were ranked by assigning scores that reflect important attributes, which generally included the cost of tuition and the first-time pass rate for the NCLEX. Colleges and universities that offer advanced degrees such as that of a nurse practitioner and DNP have already obtained passing scores on the NCLEX since students must pass the exam before being admitted to an advanced nursing program.
